Association of Spanish Language Schools in Castille and Leon
Spanish today is a language at its peak, widely used in all areas from business to politics, and more, with a bright future. Castilla y León (Castille and Leon) is the birthplace of the Spanish language.
The Association of Spanish Schools of Castilla y León (AEECyL - Asociación de Escuelas de Español de Castilla y León) was founded in 1996 with various objectives including: defending the image and prestige of its member schools; forming links with different public and private organisations; promoting the Spanish language and culture; and ensuring the quality of the centres that belong to it.
The Association of Spanish Schools of Castilla y León works with public bodies, such as regional government and local councils, in areas such as the organisation of promotional events, the formulation and application of systems that guarantee teaching quality, etc.
The Association of Spanish Schools of Castilla y León is a founder member of the Federation of Schools of Spanish as a Foreign Language (FEDELE - Federación de Escuelas de Español como Lengua Extranjera), which admits associations that teach Spanish as a foreign language, and submits them to periodic checks by the Cervantes Institute and other organisations to ensure their quality.
We also work with public organisations related to tourism and export.
The schools that form the AEECyl are private and offer a wide variety of both courses and accommodation. They are centres with extensive experience, and a professionalism proven and guaranteed by the accreditations required by both the AEECyL and FEDELE.
